Land Rover 90 Defender for sale. 1984 B reg, 200 tdi engine fitted MOT July 2015, Tax December 208k miles. The car is registered in my name and I have all of the relevant documentation. This has been a rolling restoration project for the last couple of years and has had some welding repairs carried out on the chassis and bulkhead both of which are now solid. Roll cage, which is welded to the chassis. Galvanised roof rack and access ladder. Winch and tubular bumper to the front. Electric cooling fan with switch in the cab for deep water wading. Power steering. Front and rear diff guards, steering guard. Suspension has been lifted and has corrected radius arms etc. I also have for sale a new, still in the box, set of Terafirma +2” springs and shock absorbers which I hadn’t got round to fitting yet. This 90 will not win any beauty contests but it is a good off roader with lots of life left. Please don’t expect this to drive like a modern car because it is only 1 step up from and old tractor to be fair. It is noisy, windy and looks rough. It is great fun however and solid enough underneath. Work carried out; It has new brake discs and callipers to the front and new discs to the rear. New braided flexible brake lines. New master brake cylinder. Twin battery set up with individual isolator switches. Additional Anderson plug for power take off. Second battery powers the EP9000 super winch with remote wired control as well as cab switch. New A frame flexi joint and poli bushed joints. Snorkel is present but needs to be refitted. Extended axle breathers. Recently refurbished alloy wheels and nearly new 275 mud tyres. New headlights, headlight bowls and fully rewired with individual relays for each light. Far better now than the standard Land Rover set up. New indicators and reversing lamp. New CD player and 4 speakers. Quite loud which is what you need in one of these old tubs. Lockable Tough Stuff cubby box bolted in. Two seats in the front, from a Subaru Impreza and seating for four in the back. No seat belts in the back but I will throw in a couple of racing harnesses if you like. Reconditioned heater, which blows warm air at best. All oils have been replaced including diffs, transfer, gearbox and engine. I have various extra bits that will go with the Landy and includes a very heavy-duty fuel tank guard, a tow bar from a TD5 model, a new steering damper and the remainder of the poli bush kit for the front radius arms.
